Why Building Something Good? I was first introduced to the writing of Linford Detweiler in a dorm basement when I was a sophomore in college (that sounds like a better story than it is, he was doing a reading on campus it just happened to be in a basement room). "Hey Love" and particularly the lines above have in a lot of ways set the tone for the adult life. So, the goal of writing Building Something Good is to share with others all the ways I am trying to become the person I was born to be.
Now for a little bit more about me, I have regrettably bad taste in music, talk to much and never remember to return library books on time. I love miniatures, the state of Michigan and sports movies. My favorite dessert is cherry pie and my favorite day of the week is Sunday. I like to make things, dance in the kitchen and fall asleep on the couch.
